Custom Built Ox Yokes

	Check out this line-up. These are the beautifully crafted yokes of the New Hampshire 4-H Working Steer Team competing at the Eastern States Exposition in Springfield, Massachusetts.

We can build ox yokes to fit your cattle and specific needs. We build working style yokes with the choices of yoke beam width, shallow or drop belly, adjustable or fixed center rings. We can build the yoke light or heavy duty. Single yokes and hardware also available on our "Single-Ox" supply page.

We build historically period correct ox yokes. We have the hand wrought hardware to build yokes similar to those used in the 18^th, 19^th, and 20^th century. We coat these yokes with preservatives used during those periods.

If you plan to exhibit your team and are looking for a “showy” yoke, we can fill the bill. We offer chrome and nickel plated hardware. We can finish the yoke to a high gloss with polyurethane or tongue oil.

Our ox yokes are made from a choice of high quality hardwoods including yellow birch, black birch, hard and soft maple.
